Visiting Tango Gonpa

Tango Gonpa is a monastery high on a hillside north of the Thimphu Valley.






Aksel loved the prayer wheels. He got some help spinning the huge prayer wheel.






A guardian spirit called a lu.




Even monks have to do laundry. Chop wood, carry water, is said to be one way to enlightenment.
