Today's Big Accomplishment
I dressed myself. On my second try.
Ok, I realize that those parents out there are saying 'that's no big deal. My two-year-old can do that.'
But does your two-year-old's outfit involve 3 meters of fabric that must be folded this way and that and then cinched with a belt that generally requires a maidservant or at least a good friend pull it tight? Does your two-year-old wear a top that has no buttons or zippers, but that must be fastened so the collar is nicely folded and the front doesn't gape?
I didn't think so. That's why dressing myself in my kira, after only three months of lessons, was a big accomplishment.
